Can someone look for old photos of James Mack and his family or any other info. They lived just outside of Pender in Wayne Co.from 1881 to about 1912. James Mack was on the board of directors for the local Pender bank and owned the 320 acre Catalpa Grove Stock and Grain Farm, 84868 Hy 16, in Leslie Tnshp. The house was still there back around 2005 when I visited. Jame's wife was Zilpha. Sons were Perry, Connie, Neal and Etsel. Lela Pearl Mack died 1/29/1883. Perry E. Mack went on to become Harley-Davidson's first employee in 1904/05. I have a 1905 photo with him on a motorcycle if you would like a copy. Perry built his own motorcycle, the P.E.M. and had numerous patents. He was Chief Engineer at the Briggs & Stratton Corp. from 1919 till he retired in 1949. I have already worked with Ann Bachman from the House Memorial Library. She located some nice articles from your local newspaper.
