Greetings!  I'm hoping to visit your area to find out more about my family history of the Gallaway/Galloway ancestry that lived somewhere in Pender, New Hanover or Brunswick Counties.  The earliest we have is a Thomas Gallaway Sr., mariner / riverboat pilot, born before 1712, died before 6 Sep 1764 in one of those three counties.  We have others in the lineage we know and are looking for but he's the earliest.  Looking forward to it sometime this spring.

My family owns a 1920 Country Store at the intersection of 210 and 133.  The building has been utilized as a store since its construction and currently serves our farmers market.  We are very interested in converting it back to its originial look and feel to house an immersion museum for display of history and stories relevant to this area, Rocky Point.  The structure has been used for several film shoots and has a primitive character.  The family is in the process of creating the 501 c 3 (non-profit) for the structure and an additional one for the museum.  We would greatly appreciate your assistance in connecting us with resources to help us with story writing about history of Southern Pender County.  Thank you so much for your support.

Hello, I am a FTDNA Project Administrator for Coastal Carolina Families.  We are searching for Piner males that have tested or are willing to test in order to prove or disprove a dna connection to Carteret County Piner's of the 1700's.  Any results can be anonymous or kept totally private to project.

Can your organization help make the connections?

Saw a house in Atkinson for sale that has a plaque that says McKinley-Jones House Circa 1900 and the 'Atkinson Historical Society'.  Was looking for info on the history of the house but could not find any Atkinson Histoorical Society. Tried looking up the name of the house and found nothing.  Thought I'd look here but you have no historical listings that I can see.    Are you familiar with this house?  Is it truly a historical home or is this plaque boogus?

I am looking for photos or information regarding Lt. Henry Logue Murphy.  My cousin FX Skeffington was a member of his air crew and died with him in 1944.  I am doing a short bio of my cousin and hope to gather as much information as possible.  Would you have any photos of the three crew members?  Any info would be much appreciated.

I can't seem to find where your days and hours of operation are located.  I'm certain I'm just overlooking them, but I hope you'll fill me in, as I'm anxious to come and see your museum.
